After working 12 years in a stressful job that wasn't for me, I decided that it was time to make a change. I ran away from that job in January of 2007 and I haven't looked back.
These days, I work from my farmhouse workshop in rural northwestern Pennsylvania making jewelry from pewter and copper. My rescue dog Frankie supervises daily happenings in the studio. The beauty of nature and animals are things that inspire me. My work is rustic and many of my pieces incorporate a hand hammered texture. I love what I do and I feel very lucky to be able to work from home.
I'm not really into social media. I don’t have a Facebook page, a Twitter account or a blog. I am on Pinterest and Instagram, but I'm not very good at keeping up with them. You can find me on both of those @kdemartejewelry.
